The DPT800 is a reference digital wireless body pack transmitter for AKG's DMS800 system, offering an ultra-wide 150MHz bandwidth and selectable RF output power from 10 to 50mW. It provides a frequency response of 25Hz to 20kHz through a three-pin mini XLR input compatible with AKG lavalier and head-worn microphones at 5V bias, with an operating range of up to 328 feet. Remote programming via infrared from the DSR800 receiver and 512-bit encryption protect the signal, while a NiMH battery offers two-hour quick charging.
