The Allen & Heath SQ-5 is a 48-channel digital mixer powered by a 96kHz XCVI FPGA core delivering latency under 0.7 milliseconds and sample-accurate mix coherency. It features 16+1 motorized faders, 16+1 onboard preamps, 8 assignable SoftKeys, and 12 stereo mix outputs configurable as groups or auxes, well suited to in-ear monitoring. A 7 inch touchscreen framed by illuminating encoders provides the control interface, alongside eight stereo FX engines with the RackExtra FX library and integrated SQ-Drive for direct USB recording and playback.
