Electro-Voice PL33 Dynamic Microphone

The PL33 is a supercardioid dynamic microphone for kick-drum pickup. Its directional pattern helps focus on the drum while reducing sound from surrounding instruments. The microphone is positioned near the kick drum to capture its low-frequency body and attack, with placement relative to the head and port used to shape the recorded or reinforced sound.
