Overview

The Hosa ATT-448 is an inline microphone attenuator with an XLR3F connector on one end and an XLR3M connector on the other. A switch selects 20 dB, 30 dB, or 40 dB of attenuation, letting you tame a hot dynamic microphone before it reaches the preamp. Hosa notes it works well for karaoke, public speaking, and other events where a single microphone is shared among many talkers.
