Overview

The MPA-149 is an active in-line microphone preamplifier with an XLR3M connector on one end and an XLR3F connector on the other. It provides +26 dB of gain to any low-output dynamic or passive ribbon microphone, using a discrete Class-A FET circuit for a clean signal path and low-noise operation. It draws 48V phantom power from the connected mixer, console, or interface, and is housed in a compact metal shell.
