Neumann KK 13

Capsule head for the Neumann Miniature Clip Mic system, hand-assembled in Germany inside a road-tough titanium housing just 12 mm in diameter. KK 13 captures the signature sound of acoustic instruments in a remarkably open and natural way, and its omnidirectional characteristic suits quiet stages and recording where feedback and separation are not an issue. It overcomes former limitations of the electret principle with wide bass and mid-range, no proximity effect and confident elegance in the treble, handling up to 153 dB SPL.
