Neumann KK 143

The KK 143 is a pressure gradient transducer with a wide-angle cardioid characteristic, attenuating roughly 4 dB at 90 degrees, 8 dB at 135 degrees and 11 dB at 180 degrees. Frequency response stays parallel up to 12 kHz for sources within 90 degrees off axis, so players spread across the pickup area keep a consistent tone. Sensitivity is 15 mV/Pa. Part of the modular KM A/D system, it works with the analog or the digital AES 42 output stage. Nickel finish, capsule woodbox.
