Neumann KK 145

The KK 145 is a cardioid capsule head with an acoustic bass roll-off in the free field, a speech cardioid tuned for flat response at a working distance of about 15 cm. That roll-off suppresses low frequency interference from wind and structure-borne noise, while the pressure gradient design retains proximity effect for close miking. Sensitivity is 14 mV/Pa and maximum SPL reaches 148 dB with preattenuation. Part of the modular KM A/D system, it fits the analog or digital output stage. Nickel finish, capsule woodbox.
