Neumann KK 183

The KK 183 is a diffuse-field equalized pressure transducer with an omnidirectional characteristic and a free field treble boost of about 7 dB at 10 kHz, which keeps the response flat up to 10 kHz in a reverberant space. Sensitivity is 12 mV/Pa and maximum SPL reaches 150 dB with preattenuation. Part of the modular KM A/D system, it mounts to the analog or the digital AES 42 output stage and can sit up to 100 meters away on a cable. Nickel finish, capsule woodbox.
