Neumann KK 185

The KK 185 is a pressure gradient transducer with a hypercardioid characteristic, attenuating sound arriving from the side or rear by about 10 dB, with minimum sensitivity around 120 degrees. Maximum SPL reaches 152 dB with preattenuation and sensitivity is 10 mV/Pa. As part of the modular KM A/D system, the passive capsule can be used up to 100 meters from its analog or digital AES 42 output stage, and a comprehensive accessory range covers demanding setups.
