Neumann KK 185 NX

A hypercardioid capsule head finished in Nextel black, the KK 185 nx attenuates side and rear arrivals by roughly 10 dB, with minimum sensitivity near 120 degrees for tight isolation on stage or in a busy studio. Preattenuation allows sound pressure levels up to 152 dB, and sensitivity is 10 mV/Pa. Part of the modular KM A/D system, it accepts either the analog output stage or the digital AES 42 version, with a comprehensive accessory range behind it. Supplied in a capsule woodbox.
