Neumann KM 183

An omnidirectional small diaphragm condenser with a uniform, largely frequency independent pickup pattern. The KM 183 is diffuse field equalized, adding a gentle free field treble lift of about 7 dB at 10 kHz, and its transformerless head amplifier keeps self noise at 13 dB-A while handling 140 dB SPL. Neumann builds it for classical piano, percussion, acoustic guitar, strings, woodwinds, brass, choir and orchestra, and for stereo and surround arrays. Supplied with a WNS 100 windscreen and SG 21 bk stand mount.
