Neumann KM 183 A NX

An omnidirectional small diaphragm microphone in Nextel black, built from the KK 183 capsule head and the analog KM A output stage on P48 phantom power. Diffuse-field equalization with a free field treble boost of roughly 7 dB at 10 kHz keeps response flat in reverberant spaces. Sensitivity is 12 mV/Pa, and switchable preattenuation lifts handling to 150 dB SPL. The capsule detaches for use well away from the output stage. Supplied with windscreen, stand mount swivel and wooden box.
