Neumann KM A

The KM A is Neumann's analog output stage for the modular small diaphragm system built around eight interchangeable capsule heads. It is transformerless, runs on P48 phantom power and carries a switch for 10 dB of preattenuation, allowing sound pressure levels up to 152 dB depending on the capsule fitted. At 22 mm in diameter and 93 mm long it shares dimensions with the digital AES 42 stage, so every accessory fits both. A mechanical adapter for earlier KM 100 capsules is available on request.
