Neumann KMR 81 I

A shotgun microphone for medium distances, made for film dialogue that stays clear and focused while the microphone sits outside the picture. A pressure gradient capsule and a medium-length interference tube produce a narrow 90 degree acceptance angle with excellent rejection of unwanted sound. Self-noise is 12 dB-A and it handles up to 128 dB SPL, or 138 dB with the 10 dB pad. A 200 Hz low cut counters proximity effect. Length is 213 mm, output XLR 3-pin. Includes a WS 81 windshield and case. Satin nickel.
