Advanced capsule technology meets classic transformer-coupled electronics in this universal studio microphone. The K 89 dual-diaphragm capsule gives an extended, smooth frequency response and five selectable polar patterns: omnidirectional, wide-angle cardioid, cardioid, hypercardioid and figure-8. A two-stage low cut offers linear, 80 Hz and 160 Hz settings, and a 6 dB pad copes with very high levels. Balanced XLR 3-pin output, 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Matte black finish, supplied in a wooden box.
