The split is the point: mixers, processors and anything you need to see and reach goes in the angled top, while amplifiers and power distribution fill the deep bottom. Wheels handle the weight of a fully loaded combo rack at load-in. Carpet covering keeps it presentable in a room and easier on walls and floors than a hard-shell case.
