The XDJ-AZ is a large all-in-one system, and once it sits inside a rigid case the combination stops being a comfortable two-hand carry — the wheels are what keep a solo load-in realistic. The interior is sized to the unit so it does not shift in transit, and a hard shell absorbs the crush and impact that a soft bag passes straight through to the gear.
