It terminates in a 3-pin XLR male on one end and a 3-pin XLR female on the other, so fixtures daisy-chain without adapters. The conductor is 22 gauge with aluminum foil shielding under a 6 mm outer jacket, which helps keep control data clean on long runs and in racks crowded with power cable.
