A square-bodied half coupler for 2-inch (50 mm) tube, rated to 1,102 lb (500 kg). That capacity puts it in heavy-hang territory: large moving heads, motor points and truss-to-tube connections where a light-duty round coupler is not enough. The body is 6061-T6 aluminum with an anodized black finish and weighs about 1.4 lb. It closes with a 1/2-13 hex head bolt and lock nut rather than a wing nut, so it torques down with a wrench and holds its setting through load and vibration.
