The PLX-500 is a direct drive turntable offering 33, 45, and 78 RPM speeds with a pitch fader adjustable to plus or minus 8 percent. It uses a die cast aluminum platter measuring 332mm in diameter, driven by a 3 phase brushless DC motor with electronic braking and a start time within 1 second at 33 1/3 RPM. The universal S shape tonearm uses a gimbal supported bearing structure. Includes a dust cover, slipmat, and PC-HS01-S headshell with cartridge and stylus, plus USB output for digital recording.
