A 2-foot length of 18 by 12-inch rectangular box truss, supplied with Grade 8 bolts and fabricated to order. The rectangular profile carries more depth in one axis than a square section of the same width, which is what you want for a header or a span that has to work harder in one direction. At 2 feet this is a short filler stick, used to make a span land on the dimension the design calls for rather than the nearest standard length. Allow lead time, as this is a made-to-order item.
