A 2.0 metre (6.56 ft) straight section of 290 mm square conical truss — a common working length for straight runs, headers, and tower sections. Conical truss joins section to section with couplers, pins, and clips instead of bolted end plates, which makes assembly quicker and leaves a cleaner line where the truss will be seen. The SCT290 range also runs from 0.5 m up to 3.0 m plus short spacers, so a span can be made up almost exactly.
