A 2.5 m (8.2 ft) length of 290mm x 290mm conical straight truss — the long working section in the SCT290 line, used for main spans in lighting grids, ground support and exhibit structures. Conical pin-and-clip ends make up faster than bolted plates and give a tight joint without hardware to torque or drop. It mates with every other SCT290 length, the spacers, and the conical corner blocks, so a full grid can be assembled from the one connection system.
