A flat aluminum base plate measuring 20" x 40" with a 9 mm thick top, finished in black powder coat so it disappears against a dark stage floor. The rectangular footprint is the useful part: it gives a truss tower or lighting stand a long axis of resistance in one direction while staying narrow enough to tuck against a wall or a stage edge. Aluminum keeps it light enough for one person to walk into position compared with a steel plate of the same area. Truss, adapter and ballast are supplied separately.
