The stud that anchors a guard rail to a Duro Deck stage section. Guard rails are required along open edges on elevated staging in most venues, and the stud is the small part that makes the connection work: it fixes into the deck so a rail post drops in and locks, rather than the rail being clamped or tied on. Studs are ordered per rail position, and shops tend to keep spares because this is the piece that walks off a job. Deck sections and rail sections are ordered separately.
