A leg pin with an attached wire retainer, used to lock a leg or section into place on staging and truss hardware. The wire is the whole point: it captures the pin so it cannot fall out under vibration and cannot be dropped through a deck gap or into the grass at an outdoor build, which is where loose pins usually end up. Keep spares in the road box, since a stage section missing one pin is a section that does not go up.
