The Shure MX405LP/MS is a Microflex 5 inch modular gooseneck microphone with a mini-shotgun cartridge and a red light ring status indicator at the base. Supplied less preamplifier for use with a compatible Microflex surface mount preamplifier, sold separately, it keeps a minimal profile in boardrooms and other spaces where aesthetics are important. The mini-shotgun pattern provides extended reach for speech pickup at greater distances than standard cardioid gooseneck models.
