The Shure MX412S/C is a 12 inch Microflex Standard gooseneck microphone with a cardioid condenser cartridge, an attached preamplifier with XLR output, mute switch, and LED indicator. The included shock mount provides over 20 dB of isolation from surface vibration, and a locking flange mount secures it to lecterns and conference tables. A snap-fit foam windscreen tames plosives, while the balanced, transformerless output and RF filtering keep speech clean over long cable runs. Cartridges are interchangeable.
