The Shure MXW6X/C is a low-profile wireless boundary microphone transmitter with a cardioid element for the Microflex Wireless neXt system. Its smart lithium-ion internal battery pack delivers up to 17 hours of continuous use, with reliable wireless coverage up to 160 ft (50 m) and adjustable transmit power. The programmable mute button supports push-to-talk, push-to-mute, or push-on/push-off operation, transmitters can be muted remotely by a room control system, and transmission is encrypted.
