The Shure R185B is a black cardioid replacement cartridge for Microflex series lavalier, boundary, gooseneck, and overhead microphones. The screw-on modular design allows quick installation, replacing a worn element or converting the polar pattern without buying a new microphone, with cardioid rejection of off-axis ambient sound. It fits Microflex models including the MX185, MX202, MX391, MX392, MX393, MX405, MX410, MX412, and MX418, as well as the WL185 lavalier.
